4 Ingredient Peanut Butter Dog Cookies

4 Ingredient Peanut Butter Dog Cookies

4 Ingredients Homemade Dog Treats are simple, healthy, and quick to make for your furry friend. They consist of just four ingredients typically pumpkin puree, all-natural peanut butter, eggs, and whole wheat flour making them a convenient and wholesome alternative to store-bought options.

The main benefits of these homemade dog treats are that you control exactly what goes into them, avoiding preservatives, fillers, and unknown ingredients that are often found in commercial treats. This makes them a healthy option for dogs with allergies or sensitivities.

These treats can be used for training purposes, as a reward, or simply as a tasty snack for your dog. They are suitable for dogs of all sizes and ages, although portion sizes should be adjusted accordingly.

The main components involve combining the ingredients, rolling out the dough, cutting out desired shapes (like a dog bone using a cookie cutter), and baking them in the oven until golden brown.

Ingredients

This simple recipe requires only 4 ingredients, many of which you may already have. When buying pumpkin puree, ensure it is not pumpkin pie filling.

  • Pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • All-natural chunky peanut butter
  • Eggs
  • Whole-wheat flour

How To Make 4 Ingredients Homemade Dog Treats

Making these treats is easy. You mix the ingredients, roll out the dough, cut into shapes, and bake. A dog bone cookie cutter can be used, or any other shape. Smaller bones are better for training purposes. The recipe yields a large quantity, so freezing half is a good idea to prevent spoilage.
